The wealth of audio is currently being analysed to monitor species diversity, distribution and activity patterns, and will eventually provide a ‘soundscape’ of our restoration here. They’ll also contribute to a digital library of shareable, searchable forest sounds and ecodata for use by scientists and land managers to help protect and conserve the world’s forests.
We’ll be reporting back about some of the findings soon!
